This page explains how you may use the images on Roomestic (www.roomestic.com). Please read it before you download or use any design.

What you may do (personal, non-commercial use)

  • Print a design for your own home decor, gifts, scrapbooks and DIY or craft projects.
  • Print a design on fabric or paper for your own personal use.
  • Use a design as a wallpaper or background on your own devices.
  • Use a design in school or other non-commercial educational work and presentations.
  • Share a link to our post, or share the image on social media with credit to Roomestic and a link to www.roomestic.com.

What you may not do without our written permission

  • Use a design on any product that is sold, including printed fabric, clothing, wallpaper, home goods, phone cases, mugs, stationery and print-on-demand products.
  • Use a design in advertising, branding or marketing for a business, or in client work.
  • Resell, share, redistribute or sublicense the files, alone or as part of a bundle, template pack or download.
  • Upload the files to stock-image websites, design marketplaces, print-on-demand platforms, file-sharing sites or other websites.
  • Use the images to train, fine-tune or build datasets for machine-learning or AI models.
  • Claim a design as your own creation, or remove credits or watermarks.
  • Use a design in content that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, misleading or adult in nature, or in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.

Commercial use

If you would like to use a design commercially, please contact us through the Contact Us page. Permission may be granted free of charge or on paid terms, at our discretion, and only once we have agreed the terms in writing.

How our designs are made

Roomestic designs are finished by hand in Adobe Photoshop. Some are designed entirely in Photoshop. Others begin as an AI-generated concept or element and are then edited, recolored and refined manually by us. Each post states which applies. Please keep these points in mind:

  • Copyright protection for AI-assisted work varies from country to country, and in some places it may be limited.
  • For that reason we do not promise exclusive rights in designs that began with AI-generated elements, and similar-looking images may be created or published by others.
  • If you plan to use a design commercially, you are responsible for checking the rules that apply in your country and for your type of product.
  • We keep all rights that are not expressly granted on this page.

Premium Design Sets

Premium Design Sets are separate collections of manually designed, color-matched patterns. Each set page shows its own license and, where applicable, its price. Where a set page does not state different terms, the personal-use rules on this page apply. Premium files may not be shared, resold or redistributed in any form.

No warranty

All designs are provided "as is", without any promise that they are suitable for a particular purpose. Colors can look different on screen and in print, so please run a test print before a large order.

Which terms apply

The license shown on this page on the day you download a file is the one that applies to that download. We may update this page from time to time; the date of the latest update is shown below. This license should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

Credit

Credit is not required for personal use, but it is always appreciated. A simple "Design from Roomestic (www.roomestic.com)" is enough.
